The JeanMarie began in Miami, FL. From their early days when its founding members first met to its present configuration as a quasi-intellectual, post punk, art-dance rock group, The JeanMarie has grown to be a cornerstone of South Florida's independent music scene. Combining warm coats of distorted guitars with bass heavy dance grooves, they have a way of winking with a straight face that straddles the line between satire and utter sincerity.
